Lexus: How to drive round the bends of a woman

Take a gorgeous swimsuit model...

Maybe some people are wishing that the title of this post goes 'How to drive a woman round the bend' but sadly no.

Lexus decided that using a swimwear model for their next video promotion would be a fun and who are we to argue with their airtight logic.

They got Sports Illustrated swimwear model, Tori Praver all skimpied up and made her lie won on the floor, writhing, and rolling and to make sure they can share the experience with us, they got cameras on the ready.

Let's jsut say that Scott Pruett and Greg Tracy are two lucky guys.

SCOOP: Lexus RX with new spindle grille

Lexus's new spindle grille has been splitting opinion since launch and that is probably why it was chosen, to force motorists to like or hate the new design.

Some designers say, the worst thing for any new design is indifference. It is rather difficult to be indifferent about the spindle grille.

These are scans of Japanese brochures showing the popular Lexus RX with the new spindle grille. We think it certainly to lift an otherwise bland design. We don't like it but at least we have a strong opinion about it, right Lexus?

Lexus GS in full glory at Pebble Beach

Edgier styling and more masculine and sporty image indicate Lexus's seriousness to move into Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5-series.

 Finally the GS has lost its soft curves and are now taking on a more edgy look, and I mean that literally. Just look at the sharp creases and pointy parts on the car.

The GS is also looking more planted and confident, thanks to those full-fitting wheels and the 10-spoke cart-wheel design gives the GS added visual strength.

SCOOP: LExus GS350 unveiled ahead of Frankfurt

This picture set of bare Lexus GS350 came on the web courtesy of some guy in China...

The change is certainly dramatic, the GS is now more aggressively styled and promises sharper driving dynamics... But I think the rear end is boring...I bet many people who see it on the road would think it's a Camry..

Oh well...
