GM develops new camo pattern for prototype

Camouflage is important to carmakers as they road test future models and early prototypes and up till now the camouflage has been a combination of tapes and swriling print decals.

This new camouflage appears to have been worked around the way that digital cameras process images, the fine block pattern and intersecting white french curves can potentially confuse cameras and make it a lot more difficult for image processors to discern shapes and surface flows.

BTW this is the new Cadillac ATS.
