Scale model Aventador, yours for EUR3.5 million

This has to be one of the most fantastic piece of news to come out of the Frankfurt Motor Show, a former Mercedes-Benz engineer and model builder extraordinaire Robert Gulpen has come up with a proper carbon-fibre scale model Lamborghini Aventador and he wants to charge buyers more than 10 times the price of the full-sized item. A real Aventador costs about UER300,000.

To see the video of the model and find out why it is so expensive, follow the link

Apart from the carbon fibre and mind boggling difficulty of building the scale model to fantastic accuracy, the wheels are moulded in platinum and there are lots of precious metals in the car.

For example the badge is made of gold and gems.

According to the builder, the materials alone cost EUR2million...

Gulpen has a company specialising in models made otu of precious metals, visit his site to see his fantastic works HERE

WOW doesn't even begin to describe this model
