Mitsubishi teases new Outlander ahead of Geneva

The Mitsubishi Outlander is a nice sporty SUV and apparently the new model teased by Mitsubishi last month is actually the new Outlander.

Mitsubishi will introduce this car to the world at the Geneva Autosalon in March and begin selling it in Russia this summer before moving on to the rest of Europe, Japan, CHina, Oceania and North America.
The Euro-spec Outlande will get either a 2.0 litre petrol or 2.2 turbodiesel motor. Rather peculiarly the diesel is only for 2WD variants and comes with a six-speed manual tranny.

Maybe diesel is the new sporty in Europe.

Electronic kits include stop-start, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and a forward collision mitigation system that can autonomously apply brakes if there is danger of an accident.
