Toyota production in Thailand unaffected by flood

While Toyota's manufacturing facilities at Samrong, Gateway and Ban Pho are not affected by the heavy flooding afflicting Thailand, some suppliers are facing difficulty delivering parts on time.

However this is not affecting Toyota productions in Thailand.

UMW TOYOTA MOTOR COMMENTS ON
THE RECENT FLOODING IN  AYUTTHAYA,THAILAND

There has been news coverage over the past few days regarding the recent flooding
in Thailand last Sunday, October 9, 2011. As of now, the recent flooding has had no
direct impact on Toyota Motor Thailand Co. Ltd. (TMT) which produces vehicles at
its Samrong, Gateway and Ban Pho plants because these plants are not located in
the affected area. However, some suppliers  are experiencing delays in supplying
parts.
UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd would like to inform all customers in Malaysia, at this
moment there is no interruption to the supply of Toyota  models retailed by the
company. Delivery schedules to our customers are not affected at present.
UMW Toyota Motor is accessing the situation and will inform from time to time.
